ACET celebrate Christmas at BrainTree

The Adult Conductive Education Trust (ACET) were delighted to celebrate their first Christmas at our stunning new BrainTree Wellness Centre. Sally from ACET said “we are so grateful to be part of the BrainTree whanau!

The live music created a great vibe, and our people enjoyed a drop-in visit from Santa (lots of speculation as to who was behind the beard)! It was a special time to remember our dearly loved friend Charlie who we lost earlier in the year. Charlie's family donated a cup in his memory with the first recipient being Mark Wales, recognised for his contribution as client representative on the ACET board. Mark has done a sterling job of ensuring that the voice of the people we serve is loud and proud, with a big focus on social and fun activities! Congratulations Mark. We look forward to 2023 at BrainTree when we will be adding speech language therapy to our service, partially funded from a grant received from TC Continental who attended the party”.
